Show of Strength: Over 35 contemporary Goa based women artists across diverse mediums come together at Aguad, Goa, from March-April to mark Women’s History Month worldwide in a visual art exhibition titled Show of Strength. Set within the historic walls of a former prison transformed into a cultural space, Show of Strength presents a landmark exhibition of women artists shaping Goa’s contemporary art discourse. Inclusive and diverse, the exhibition features women artists that are established, mid-career and emerging as well as artists with disabilities. Bringing together artists working across painting, ceramic sculpture, photography, installation, textile, and mixed media, this is a show of strength - situated within a space that embodies transformation itself.
