I think most brands don’t actually need more marketing.
They need clarity.
(And maybe one less brainstorm that ends in a Google Doc no one opens again.)
The product is usually fine, sometimes even great.
But the story around it gets noisy or overworked, until it stops sounding like the people who built it.
That’s the part I’m interested in fixing.
I’m a creative founder and brand strategist. I work closely with founders who want to grow without losing themselves in the process. I founded a creative consultancy called The Significant Otter, where the work flows between strategy, storytelling, design, marketing, creative direction, & content production, mostly across food, hospitality, and culture-led brands.
I help shape narratives brands can stay true to, not just at launch, but as things get busier and bigger.
When done well, a story doesn’t just sell a product. It helps build familiarity, trust, and a community.
I’m drawn to brands with craft and character.
The kind that don’t need to shout, but still want to be felt. I care about how things look, obviously. But just as much about how they sound, how they’re experienced, and whether they still feel honest over time.
That’s the work.
Everything else is just formatting.
